I am the Anti-Single-Girl

No, I am not against single girls. I am not against anybody- I just have the opposite beliefs of many single girls. Here it is:

I love Valentine's Day.
And I'm single. (and I enjoy it)

I mean honestly, what's not to love about this hoiday? Everything is pink, there are flowers everywhere, there's the potential for a pity card with a $20 from my mom, and clearance chocolate all over the city the next day. Now, my favorite color is actually green, but I take no shame in enjoying a day when most everything is pink and/or red. And maybe even leopard. As for the flowers, I may not receive my own dozen, but I can still enjoy them everywhere else I go. And I just know that there is going to be an extremely large box of Fannie May chocolates in the break room at work, and probably a few dozen roses sent from clients.

I've got it made. I get the chocolate, the flowers, the festivities, and no worries about buying something for somebody else (Though I have already purchased Spongebob dressed up as a cowboy Valentine chocolates for my loveable roommates). I can even shamelessly munch on Necco conversation hearts all day, laughing at the ones that say things like "fax me" and "u rule."

When I get home from work that day, Adriana and I will pop a bottle of wine, say a couple of cheesy lines about being each other's valentines, and demolish a box of chocolates. Then, another bottle of wine, and maybe another.

Nothing sounds bad about that at all.

Peace, love, and ponies.

Indeed! I'm also a single person who enjoys Valentine's Day. I don't care that the Godivas and underwear I recieve are from my mother - it is a fun, cute occasion any way you slice it, and people who wallow upon this holiday seriously need to quit whining and eat their weight in chocolate like the rest of us.

Additionally, YOU are my valentine, and we must reunite for Musketeer tomfoolery ASAP.

umm 1/3 feels left out because 2/3 claimed eachother for vday.
thanks bitches.

despite my broken heart( and the fact that i think valentines day is goofy and awkward and it makes me feel hot and uncomfortable) i would also very much enjoy some tomfoolery betwixt the musketeers.
