Ok, this blog is called From the Ranch to the Chi.
Chi= abbreviation for Chicago, and is pronounced "shy." Its just the most common nickname for Chicago. We "locals" call it Chi, ChiCity, ChiTown.. yada yada yada.
It is not, contrary to popular belief, "chi," which is some tranquil state of mind, I believe? I am anything but tranquil. Word to your mother.
